Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Nurse Supervisor to join our team. The Weekend RN Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our residents during the weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff in providing high-quality care to residents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and address any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and guidance to staff on best practices and policies.
- Manage staffing levels and assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
- Handle emergency situations and provide direct patient care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Georgia state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care.
