Corporate Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, including checking for unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain first aid supplies.
• Manage conflicts effectively, employing conflict resolution techniques as needed.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.

Experience

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in security-related fields is advantageous (e.g., security guard certification).
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices.

Pay: $12.00 - $21.00 per hour
