Seeking an Accounting/Administrative Assistant for a local manufacturing company located in Columbia City, IN.
Candidates should expect to complete an interview with Tower Staffing and Client in search prior to being accepted for the position.
Essential Functions:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Quickbooks entries
- Payroll processing
- b2b customer contact via telephone and email
- Entering customer communications
- Assist in troubleshooting and/or directing issues to appropriate personnel
- Interaction with outside sales personnel.
- Interaction with vendor representatives.
Admin:
- Filing, faxing, and keeping areas organized.
- Help various areas when needed (accounting, sales, customer service).
- Data entry, order office supplies, and directing calls to appropriate recipients.
Requirements:
- Ability to utilize Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Previous experience with Quickbooks desktop
- Professional communication skills
- 2 years experience working in a professional office.
- Time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with your peers.

Schedule: 8am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Pay: $17- $21 DOE, full benefits available after 90 days
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
