Tower Trust & Investment Company is currently looking for a Vice President/Trust Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and administering trust accounts, including estate planning, fiduciary duties, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This individual will work closely with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to provide personalized trust and estate services. This role has opportunity for growth to become a member of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage a variety of trust and estate accounts.
- Establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert guidance on trust and estate planning.
- Review and interpret trust documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with legal and financial professionals to manage estate and trust matters.
- Provide advice on tax and investment strategies related to trusts and estates.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all trust account activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously develop knowledge of changes in trust law, estate planning, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in Trust and Estate Administration, or 5 years of investment experience with a desire to add Trust and Estate Administration to your skills.
- A four-year degree or commensurate experience in Trust and Estate administration
- A CTFA, CFP, JD, or CPA designation will be given strong preference.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, fiduciary duties, tax regulations, and trust laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
