We're looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our home care rehabilitation division, Towers Home Care & Rehabilitation!
The Towers Home Care & Rehabilitation is an entity of the Orlando Senior Health Network, a Continuing Care Retirement Community located and operating for over 40 years in downtown Orlando. Our exceptional Home Health Team cares for and celebrates the lives of our seniors with five–star services provided to all of our patients and residents.
Requirements
- Have an active and cleared licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued in the State of Florida.
- Have at least one year of Home Care experience with little to no supervision.
- Must function independently with flexibility and personal integrity while working effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
- Have experience in long-term care; knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations; and knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement requirements.
Essential Abilities:
· Must be able to lift, push, pull, and stabilize patients during exercise sessions.
· Must function independently with flexibility and personal integrity while working effectively with residents, staff and visitors.
· Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations; and knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement requirements.
