The successful Automotive Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks on used cars, ensuring their proper functioning and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Technician with strong technical skills and a dedication to providing exceptional service. Pay scales are based on certifications and years of experience.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose issues with used cars by conducting thorough vehicle inspections and utilizing diagnostic tools.
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as multi-point inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out vehicle components including brake pads, belts, and hoses.
- Conduct vehicle test drives to assess performance and identify any additional issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of performed work and any additional recommendations for repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and attending training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department to identify and acquire necessary parts for repairs.
- 1-2 years experience as a technician in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Ability to drive manual vehicles.
- Experience in relating effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, vendors, and the general public.
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
