Position: Pediatric Dental Assistant
Compensation & Benefits Overview:
- $300 Sign On Bonus! $150 paid at first check, $150 paid after 90 days employment
- $16.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

General Info:
- Full-time (Monday-Friday, with part-time options)
- Start at 7:45 AM
- Work with a team of motivated Dental Assistants
- Care for 8-10 young patients daily
- Assist with various procedures and patient education
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Travel & Commute Note:
The chosen candidate will need to travel to multiple (local/nearby) sites depending on the day, and must have reliable transport to:

- Town Center Pediatric Dentistry: 4525 Columbus St, Virginia Beach, VA 23462
Job Duties:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealant application
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Greet and comfort patients, ensuring they feel calm and secure throughout their dental visit
- Take routine dental X-rays or as directed by the dentist
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Accurately document patient records and treatment notes
- Maintain professional communication with the dental team, patients, and parents
- Excellent communication skills, especially with children and their parents

Required Education & Training:
- Registered Dental Assistant Certification
- AED Certification
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Radiation Health & Safety Certification
Preferred Skills, Education & Experience:
- Prior Dental Assisting experience
- Knowledge of Dental Terminology
- X-Ray Certification
