Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments of our veterinary hospital, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and safe for occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Ensure that restrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Clean windows, walls, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good time management skills to efficiently complete cleaning assignments.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods, including lifting and moving items as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial cleaning experience (preferred).
- References required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
