Front Desk Receptionist - 15 hours per week

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

ABOUT THE CLUB

Town & Country Club is a private social and golf club located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, just ten minutes from both downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. Member amenities include Golf, Tennis, Pool, and Fitness. Featuring five areas for member dining, banquet, and meeting facilities, our club is a place for family and friends to assemble and where memories are made. The Club is open to non-member events, such as weddings, family celebrations, business meetings, and golf tournaments. Town and Country Club seeks out the top prospects for employment. POSITION SUMMARY

The Front Desk Receptionist’s main responsibility is to greet and assist members and guests during their time at Town & Country Club. This position is often the first impression our members and guests have of Town & Country, and it is essential that it is a positive experience. The Receptionist is responsible for greeting members/guests, answering the telephone, answering inquiries, taking reservations, direct calls, and providing the service members expect. Administrative tasks will be assigned by the General Manager to fill slow periods. Reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES

- Greet and direct members and guests to the proper area by name when possible

- Converse with members and guests, be outgoing and friendly, but professional

- Act as an extension of member relations and catering/events departments in obtaining prospective member and guest referrals

- Route mail and small packages that are delivered to the front desk in a timely manner

- Contact building maintenance for cleaning and repair needs related to lobby space or meeting rooms

- Administrative support including data entry, report printing, reservation sheets, event sign up

- Arranging Board and Committee packets as well as sending meeting invites and agendas

- Special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous country club or receptionist experience a plus

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

- Demonstrate good listening skills

- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills

- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekend availability

  • Saint Paul, MN 55104: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
