A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .
- Provides for and mentors excellent customer service
- Coordinates & maintains a detailed merchandising calendar at least 13 weeks out
- Participates in hiring and training new department employees
- Writes & works orders, coordinates promotions, ensures proper signage on all product
- Implements & adheres to inventory management procedures for the department
- Responsible for the department sales & labor budget, grosses, profitability, and reports
- Responsible for keeping the POS department updated on price changes from non-supported vendors
- Performs semi-annual employee conferences
- Procures product-best price / best time to buy
- Assists in merchandising, receives and stocks product for retail sales
- Coordinates and maintains excellent shop conditions, including cleaning and maintenance
- Writes department schedule
- Adheres to all company, market, and department policies
- Maintains adherence to sustainability programs and all security and safety policies
- Adheres to proper waste management and recycling procedures
- Keeps up on current industry trends, standards and state regulations
- Provides and role models attitude of service to staff and customers
- Operates within the Company's Core Values and Company Brand
