Job Summary:
Town Fair Tire is looking for a Tire Mover to help with the organization and the running of the daily shop operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of shop support tasks and work diligently under pressure. An ideal candidate will efficiently and accurately receive, inventory, locate and stock tires while maintaining the appearance of the store in a professional manner.
Essential Job Functions:
- Sweep and mop sales floor, hallway and bathroom areas
- Review incoming preprinted manifest and pre-locate incoming tires
- Gather and prepare any outgoing adjustments and transfers
- Merchandise all pallets, racks and walls
- Unload and load daily deliveries in a strategic organized manner
- Verify received tires and reconcile delivery to manifest, send corrections to warehouse and file with store manager
- Put away regular inventory, correctly stacking and positioning labels
· Put tires away within the store
- Label and put away internet and special order tires, wheels, lugs, TPMS, etc
· Scan incoming delivery for accurate inventory
· Help set up promotional display
Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure efficiently
- Must be VERY detail oriented, quick to think on your feet
- Must be PATIENT and UNDERSTANDING as the nature of our business tends to get a little hectic during busy season
- Be able to work as a team player and independently also be able to think outside the box.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Safety Requirements:
- Perform all safety related items as per the Employee Safety Manual
- Learn and maintain all lifting procedures
- Learn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately upon them taking place to your direct supervisor
Weight Requirements:
- Lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds
- Perform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry
