What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Closing Officer position at Town n' Country Title, LLC?
The Marketing Closing Officer will perform duties directly related to increasing company growth and sales along with advanced duties related to all facets of the closing process. This position will be responsible for knowing how to process pre and post-closing documents along with facilitating closings with buyers/sellers/lenders/realtors/legal professionals. In addition to these duties, the person will be responsible for conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This position will also work closely with the Sr. Management Team and Regional Closing Manager to assist in all areas of marketing, sales, and closings.
Essential Functions:
General Duties
- Conducts market research and identifies potential clients and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders and realtors to identify sales opportunities.
- Works closely with Management team to implement sales growth strategies.
- Manages multiple projects concurrently and meets deadlines.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Secure orders and information needed for processing then submit by various methods to Order Processing department for processing. Assist Order Processing in obtaining additional information when needed.
- Pre-closing process includes but not limited to:
- Verify information – accuracy of legal description, wire instructions, funding
- Prepare documents necessary for closing (Closing documents, seller documents, recordable documents)
- Order payoffs
- Print checks and lender documents
- Order final bills for closing
- Facilitate closings with buyers/sellers/lenders/realtors/legal professionals. Explain documents and terms of transaction to said parties, obtain and notarize signatures.
- Post-closing process includes but not limited to:
- E-recordings
- Disbursement of funds
- Verify and execute payoffs
- Process and return loan packages to lenders
- Copy and scan required documents for electronic retention
- Complete closing checklist
Other Information
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Associate's degree in business related field or alike is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional office experience required. Minimum 1 year of mortgage processing or title insurance industry experience in a professional office setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
