Full-Time Parts Runner at Town Toyota in Weantchee, Wa
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Parts Runner to join our Toyota team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. The Parts Runner will assist in maintaining freight inventory and deliver parts throughout the Wenatchee Valley while adhering to safety guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Transport and deliver parts to technicians, customers, and vendors
- Pick up and / or deliver parts to designated accounts when instructed by the Part Manager
- Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely receipt and delivery of materials through database computer systems
- Receive and store incoming parts; ensuring materials are organized and easily accessible
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring safety standards are met
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders for replacement parts and materials are placed in a timely manner
- Assist in the periodic maintenance of company vehicles as needed
Qualifications :
Work Environment :
As part of the essential duties, this position requires operating motor vehicles, along with certification and operation of a forklift and / or a scissor lift. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
