What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Customer Service Representative position at Town of Aberdeen?
The Town of Aberdeen is recruiting for a part-time position that will be responsible for clerical/ accounting duties related to the utility billing process in the Town Hall. The position will collect and post customer payments, dispatch workers to address service calls, and cut on/off of utilities. The position will also greet visitors in the utility collections area, answer telephones, and provide general assistance to the public. Strong computer skills with efficiency and attention to detail are required. This position requires a strong emphasis on customer service and being able to work with the customers in a positive manner. The position will primarily work Monday – Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and be scheduled between 20-25 hours per week.
Starting salary: $15.00 - $16.00/hour. Includes membership in Local Governmental Employees Retirement System and 5% contribution for 401-k plan. Position open until filled.
