SEASONAL PARKS, OPEN SPACE, FORESTRY MAINTENANCE WORKERHOURS. Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and additional hours as necessary to meet the needs of the Town of Berthoud.Additional Hours: weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary to meet the needs of the Town of BerthoudPay: $14.81-$17.14SUMMARY: The Town of Berthoud has multiple openings for Seasonal Maintenance Workers. This position is under the supervision of the Parks or Town Forester/Open Space Supervisor and is responsible for all maintenance of the Town Park system, facilities, open spaces, trails, and Greenlawn Cemetery. Background in any of the following is preferred but not required: operating commercial grade riding mowers, push mowers, weed trimmers, and backpack blowers. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor. Ability to work safely and efficiently alone or with others. Valid driver’s license required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES: Operates Town vehicles and all equipment such as, but not limited to trucks, utility mules, and mowers. Performs labor tasks associated with parks and open spaces including, but not limited to mowing, weed trimming, trail maintenance, trash pickup, blowing debris/grass clippings and athletic field prep. Assists all Public Works Departments.Performs preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment, tune-ups, oil change, etc.Employ safety practices and procedures.Maintain an effective and courteous working relationship with supervisors, co-workers, and the public.Performs the above duties and other duties as assigned by the Parks Department Supervisor, Town Forester/Open Space Supervisor or the Public Works Operations Manager.Certificates and Licenses:

Salary : $15 - $17
