General Definition of Work
Seeking an innovative, energetic, collaborative individual for the position of Network Support Technician. Reporting to the Technology Director, this is a junior level, full-time position. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the Technology Help Desk. Position will also manage and monitor hardware and software patches to 300 computers and assist with various Technology projects. Requests for support will be coordinated by the IT team and responses will be communicated, delegated, or responded to directly. The clear communication of intent and expectations is critical in this role. Patch installations will need to be coordinated and clearly communicated to staff and IT team members.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional work after hours or on weekends
**This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for tele-work**

Essential Functions

- Serves as a primary point of contact for the Technology Help Desk

- Delivers effective training presentations in both one-on-one and small group situations to employees
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 or later
- Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols and other hardware such as wired, wireless, printers, and scanners
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting software and hardware system errors and network installation/maintenance
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise data backup technologies
- Demonstrated experience with system patch management
- Possesses a general knowledge of IT practices and procedures
- Be self-motivated, have effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to interact with customers in a courteous, responsive, and cordial manner
- Ability to read, comprehend, and respond clearly and concisely to simple instructions and correspondences
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED certification required with relevant computer experience
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in a computer related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Information Technology field
- Minimum of 2 years experience of customer service experience
Special Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- A satisfactory post-offer, pre-employment extensive criminal background investigation will be required of the selected applicant
