What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Harbor Master position at Town of Boothbay Harbor?
The Town of Boothbay Harbor is seeking applicants for the position of Deputy Harbor Master. Qualified applicants will have a marine-oriented background, and must be able to operate a boat independently. Applicants are required to have excellent public relations skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. Assisting the Harbor Master and the Pumpout Boat Operator is the primary job requirement and training will be provided. You will be working directly with the public as a representative of the town. This is a 32-40 hour-per-week, seasonal position from mid-May to mid-October. The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical/drug screen. Compensation will be discussed with the finalist.
