What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Laborer - Facilities position at Town of Bourne?
The Town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, has an opening for full-time Skilled Laborer in our Facilities Department. We are seeking reliable and responsible candidate who will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and physical tasks to support the daily operations of the Facilities Department. Work includes operating tools, equipment and machinery, making repairs, and assisting in the overall maintenance and repair of town buildings. Preferred applicants would have skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
Qualifications and Education
High School diploma or equivalent, and 2 or more years of public works, construction, maintenance, mechanical or trade experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Full/Part Time & Hours
Full time position (37 hours/week.)
Salary
Starting at $23.30 - $24.36/hour
Salary Notes
This is a benefitted position with dental, health, PTO and retirement.
