- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in the field of vehicle and/or motorized equipment mechanical repair required.
- Successful applicants are required to meet the DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements, pass a pre-employment drug screen, have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, pass a drug and alcohol release from previous employers (if applicable), and complete a criminal background check and reference check prior to confirmation of hire.
- The incumbent may also be subject to random drug and alcohol testing requirements. This position is considered safety sensitive (per DOT regulations).
- Valid Colorado Driver's License required at time of hire.
- Valid CDL with Class B, P2 Endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Valid Federal Motor Carriers (FMCSR) Medical Examiners Certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Qualified Annual Vehicle Inspector Certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Certification section 608 and 609 required within one (1) year of hire.
- Graduation for a certified trade or technical school in the area of fleet repair and maintenance is highly desired.
- Evidence of experience in a lead-worker or supervisory capacity in a fleet environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fleet software such as asset management and fuel systems desired.
WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule for this position varies to include 40 hours per week. The incumbent must be flexible in terms of availability, and may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, extended shifts and overtime as needed at the discretion of management.
