- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Colorado Driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is required prior to operating any Town-owned vehicles.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working in Public Works preferred.
- One (1) year of experience in water distribution maintenance preferred.
- Colorado Water Distribution Operator Certification preferred.
- Experience in one (1) or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
- Hydrant operation
- Water distribution
- Water treatment
- GIS/GPS
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- CIRSA and HAZMAT safety procedures
SAFETY SENSITIVE:
This position is considered safety sensitive because the incumbent operates hydrants in high water pressure zones.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The work schedule for this position is typically four (4) 10-hour shifts with consecutive days off. The incumbent must be able to work up to 40 hours per week as needed or at the discretion of Management.
