Job Description
Brewster Fire is recruiting to fill a Firefighter- Paramedic position. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who want to make a difference in the community. Applicants must possess Massachusetts Paramedic certification prior to hire or be able to obtain this certification within six months of employment, hold a valid driver’s license, be 18 years of age or older, and possess a HS diploma or equivalent (GED). Preference may be given to applicants with Firefighter I/II Pro-Board or equivalent certification. Candidates shall successfully pass the MA Physical Agility Test, background check, and a medical exam prior to hire.
This is a full-time position covered under the Fire union agreement, with a starting annual base salary for paramedics of $66,931.00 - $69,106.00, starting pay dependent on qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and pension benefits.
