What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Softball Umpire position at Town of Carrboro, NC?
General Definition and Conditions of Work
The Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department is seeking qualified individuals to umpire Adult Co-Rec Softball games. Candidates with previous umpiring experience are preferred, but umpiring experience is not required. Baseball/Softball playing or coaching experience and sound softball rules knowledge is highly desirable. Play is governed by local league rules and Amateur Softball Association (ASA) rules.
Leagues are offered during the Spring (April-June) and Fall (August-October) seasons. Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Flexible scheduling exists with umpires being assigned 2-6 games per week.

Pay Rate: $44.00 per game
