What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Outside Services Attendant position at Town of Castle Rock?

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets customers and answers basic questions regarding play and services available at the course.
- Stages golf carts for players.
- Cleans and details carts after use.
- Parks and secures carts when not in use.
- Picks up and cleans range balls from the driving range. Ensures range ball dispenser is stocked with range balls.
- Keeps parking lot, clubhouse grounds and cart barn clean and free of debris.
- Monitors golf cart conditions and notifies supervisor of any maintenance needs.
- May help train new Outside Services Attendants.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age or older
Experience: Six (6) months previous outside service operation and/or six (6) months of customer service experience experience is preffered; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Familiarity with golf is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Effective oral communication skills for following instructions and answering customer questions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Physical ability to drive and clean golf carts.
- Physical ability to retrieve and clean golf balls from range.
Physical Demands:
- Moderate to heavy physical work to include lifting 50lbs or less, carrying 50 lbs or less, and pushing and/or pulling 50lbs or less
- Frequent performance of activities requiring a full range of body movement including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching, crawling, and/or twisting
- Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate tools and electrical equipment as well as for driving equipment and vehicles
Work Environment:
- Works primarily outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
Equipment Used:
- This position may require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment.
Must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
