What You’ll Do:
- Plan and actively participate with participants in classes/programs
- Oversee all activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants
- Organize and implement activities tailored to the specified age group
- Supervise 10-40 participants per class/clinic, ensuring smooth and organized sessions
- Maintain order, enforce rules, and follow discipline procedures as necessary
- Communicate clearly and effectively with participants, providing instructions and guidance
- Adhere to Recreation Program Policies and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Be knowledgeable about the subject or program you are teaching and instructing
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; at least one year of experience in instructing is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Effective verbal communication skills to guide and instruct participants
- Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with participants and staff
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate equipment or tools needed for the program
- Passion for leading and providing an engaging experience for all participants
