What You'll Do:
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and handle conflicts effectively
- Perform rescues, first aid, and maintain rescue equipment
- Conduct swimming tests and assist with pool events and setups
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the pool and surrounding areas
- Maintain fitness through regular conditioning and assist less experienced lifeguards
- Attend required training and keep daily records
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 16 or older, with American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including CPR/AED and First Aid)
- Ability to enforce rules in a tactful and effective manner and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to walk, crawl, climb, stoop, bend, stand for long periods of time, and lift/carry/manipulate loads weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Strong physical endurance and the ability to perform rescues and first aid under pressure
