Program Specialist
A seasonal opportunity to gain valuable experience, be a positive role model, and contribute to the community while enjoying a fun summer.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead children aged 5-10 through the Playground program and aged 10-14 through the Xtreme Program activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, songs, dance, drama, and field trips in a safe and supervised environment.
- Support the Recreation Director and coordinators, participate in training sessions, maintain records of weekly attendance and accident reports, and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds.
- Enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and provide exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members.

Requirements:
- CPR Certification: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. The Town will provide CPR classes at no cost.
- Availability: Candidates must be available for orientation and commit to covering a full session. We prefer candidates who can commit to both sessions.
- Employment Conditions: All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and other required screenings.
