What's The Job?
Working as a Sanitation Worker, you can expect to perform manual work associated with collection, loading, and disposal of solid waste, recyclable materials, brush, or other materials. This position does require driving a Town vehicle and the operation of a variety of equipment and tools associated with department work activities, such as a compactor, rake, shovel, hand tools, or two-way radio.
Minimum Requirements
Here is what you must have to be considered for the position of Sanitation Worker:
- Knowledge equivalent of a tenth (10th) grade education with course work in a vocational program
- Valid Driver’s License
