Planner
The Town of Cramerton, NC is seeking a hands-on, self-motivated professional to join our team as
Planner. Salary Range is $48,000 to $69,000. This position will work directly with the Planning Director
and the public to support the planning process through technical and administrative work. The Planner
will be responsible for processing permits and development applications, reviewing and researching
materials related to ordinances, development proposals, and preparing information for Planning Board
and Board of Commissioner meetings. This newly created position is the perfect opportunity for eager
self-starter who wants to learn and grow in the planning profession.
This position requires graduation from a college or university with a degree in urban planning, or a
related field, and some experience in local government planning; or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. The successful candidate will also possess a valid driver’s license.
