Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled to skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of the Town's water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Is responsible for receiving and carrying out work assignments under the guidance of a Utilities Field Technician I or II. Reports to the Utilities Maintenance Supervisor.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Graduation from high school.
- One (1) year of experience in various fields of utility maintenance or construction labor work; or closely related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
Experience in water distribution and wastewater collection systems and / or operating automotive or other motorized maintenance and construction equipment preferred.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES :
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Driver's license must not have been suspended within five (5) years of the date of this application (Not Insurance related).Ability to obtain Level "III" Water Distribution license from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Class "C" wastewater collection system from a Florida approved agency within three (3) years of employment.Ability to obtain, within one (1) year of employment, a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and tanker endorsements.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES :
