The Town of Dennis seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (40 hrs. / wk.) position of Office Assistant for the Finance Department.
This position supplies support to the Accounting Department. The Office Assistant is responsible for the provision of a wide range of clerical support services assisting in the day to day administrative operation of the Department. Duties include, but are not limited to the assisting in reconciliation and recording of transactions and maintaining fixed assets accounts and records all pertinent information.
Minimum Qualifications : High School degree or equivalent with one to three (1-3) years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Additionally, applicant should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), ability to work effectively in a busy office and work within time constraints.
Hourly Rate of Pay : AFSCME-A Pay Scale : $23.13 - $26.05 DOQ, plus comprehensive benefits package.
