Job Summary
The Town of Dennis is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the full-time position of Principal Office Assistant for the DPW/Engineering Departments. This role will play a critical part in supporting the administration of both departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications for the Town Engineer, ensuring all necessary documents are received and reviewed accurately.
- Maintain records of legal advertisements for bids and pole hearings, adhering to state procurement law.
- Assist the Department Head in administering the operating budgets for both the Engineering and Building departments.
- Prepare bid packages and conduct bid openings in accordance with state regulations.
- Support Chapter 90 State Aid funding reimbursements to the Town.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent with one to three years of related work experience.
- Strong skills in operating personal computers and applicable software applications.
- Excellent customer service, time management, self-motivational, and organizational skills are essential.
