The Town of Durham is seeking a candidate for a full-time Road/Highway Maintainer I in the Public Works Department.
Qualifications/Requirements: The qualifications required would generally be acquired with a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of construction and heavy vehicle driving experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Must have and maintain: A valid CT Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B and be able to obtain a Class A license within one year; the cost of the Class A license will be paid for by the Town of Durham unless employee leaves employment within 1-year of completion of CDLA. Must submit to CDL Drug testing regulations.
