We are seeking an Environmental Steward to join our team who will be responsible for ensuring the preservation and enjoyment of Eagle's treasured open spaces.
This position combines resource protection, public education, and regulation enforcement to ensure the preservation and enjoyment of Eagle's treasured open spaces.
You will serve as the friendly first point of contact to ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Eagle Municipal Code for open space properties, trails, select parks, and the golf course during the winter season only.
Responsibilities include performing and overseeing maintenance of open space properties and trails, planning and implementing trail rehabilitation and construction projects, monitoring and documenting wildlife activity, trail conditions, and ecological changes, and coordinating volunteer crews for maintenance projects.
