Position Summary: The Finance Director is responsible for managing and overseeing the Town of Eagle’s financial operations. This includes supervising and performing a wide range of complex accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and fiscal policy development functions to maintain the Town's financial records and systems. The Finance Director ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, upholds the Town's fiscal health, and supports transparent and strategic financial planning aligned with the Town's goals and priorities. Responsible for all funds, grant funding, bonds, and other assets owned by the town. This position also includes supervisory and management responsibilities for financial staff members.
Hiring Range: $128,000 – $160,000 annually, maximum pay potential is $192,000

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate should possess bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in governmental finance or accounting, including 2 years’ experience supervising 2 or more staff, strong communication skills, work seamlessly with others, excel in conflict resolution, adapt quickly to changing situations and remain flexible. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must!
Position Type: This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Work hours may vary depending on projects. Regular, predictable, and dependable on-site workplace attendance is an essential function of the job, however flexibility in schedule is supported.? Attends Town Council (2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6 p.m.), and various committee meetings that typically occur during regular business hours.
