The Town of Eagle is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Open Space & Trails Manager. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage our open space and trails program, working closely with stakeholders and community groups to protect and enhance our natural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our open space and trails goals, working closely with stakeholders and community groups
- Manage and maintain our open space and trails system, ensuring that it is well-maintained and accessible to the public
- Collaborate with developers, agencies, and stakeholders to develop and implement trail plans and designs
- Communicate effectively with the public, providing information and updates on our open space and trails program
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Parks & Recreation Administration, Natural Resources Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open space, trails management, or land conservation
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong background in open space planning, land acquisitions, and trail management
- Experience with grant writing, budgeting, and strategic planning
