Are you looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact and grow your career? The Town of Eagle is seeking a Streets Maintenance Technician I or II to join our skilled Public Works team.
You'll help keep our roads, pathways, and public spaces safe and beautiful year-round. Key responsibilities include:
- Snow Plowing & Maintenance: Keep roads clear and safe during winter storms.
- Street Upkeep: Operate heavy equipment for sweeping, weed control, asphalt repair, and more.
- Fleet Support: Assist with maintaining Town vehicles and equipment.
- Emergency Support: Be "on call" for snowplowing, water leaks, and other urgent needs.
To join the team, you must:
- Possess a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire and be insurable under Town standards.
- Live within 45 miles of the Town of Eagle Public Works Facility (1050 Chambers Avenue, Eagle, CO). Total travel time should not exceed 60 minutes at posted driving speeds.
- Pass a pre-hire drug test, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

For Maintenance Technician I:
- Hourly Range: $23.63 - $28.36.
- Some experience with maintenance, landscaping, or construction preferred – but we're happy to train the right candidate.
- Ability to obtain a Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6–9 months preferred.
For Maintenance Technician II:
- Hourly Range: $26.84 - $32.21.
- 2–5 years' experience in street maintenance or operating heavy equipment required.
- CO Class B CDL and basic computer skills required.

Work Schedule:
- Summer (May–Oct): Mon–Thurs, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Winter (Nov–April): Mon–Thurs, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and Fridays, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
- Be prepared for early snowplow shifts starting at 3:00 AM and occasional evening/weekend events.
