We are seeking a skilled Trail Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Town of Eagle. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining trails and natural areas in our beautiful community.
This position combines resource protection, public education, and regulation enforcement to ensure the preservation and enjoyment of Eagle's treasured open spaces.
You will serve as the friendly first point of contact to ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Eagle Municipal Code for open space properties, trails, select parks, and the golf course during the winter season only.
Responsibilities include performing and overseeing maintenance of open space properties and trails, planning and implementing trail rehabilitation and construction projects, monitoring and documenting wildlife activity, trail conditions, and ecological changes, coordinating volunteer crews for maintenance projects, implementing Leave No Trace principles and promoting trail etiquette.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent customer service skills, strong communication and conflict resolution abilities, detail-oriented mindset, and strong organizational skills.
