What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks & Recreation Worker position at Town of Enfield?
The Town of Enfield is now accepting applications for a part time Recreation Worker. The
position is under the general supervision of the Parks & Recreation Director. Primary
- duties include : assisting in program implementation and sports activity supervision;
overseeing program operations and sports activities on a weekly basis; instructing youth of
varies ages on various activities; ensures rooms and designated areas are cleaned and
arranged neatly; and ensures activity areas are set up and broken down before and after
programs and activities; closely monitor surrounding areas and all activities watching out
for and correcting potentially dangerous situations; insure care, upkeep, and storage of
facility equipment. Position is responsible for enforcing equally all Recreation Division
policies and procedures and / or general facility or park rules. Requirements : The position is
open to candidates who have a valid North Carolina driver’s license; good character,
integrity, and responsibility, enthusiasm, patience, and self-control. Applicant must also
possess the ability to utilize clear and concise language skills, follow written and verbal
instructions, and provide energetic instruction. Must submit to and pass a drug and alcohol
test. Must be able to arrive on time for work and notify the appropriate individual in
advance if unable to work. Successful applicant should possess the ability to perform a
variety of tasks simultaneously or in rapid succession. Hours of Work : Maximum 20-25
hours per week; Monday – Friday
