What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Resource Officer position at TOWN OF FLORENCE?
The Town of Florence is seeking School Resource Officers who have a desire to mentor and educate our youth. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate at various levels that can reach and engage student understanding. Must have a willingness to partner with parents, school administrators and faculty for the betterment of our students. Should be a pillar of the community that reflects positive role modeling ensuring an optimistic view of law enforcement for our youth. Able to create and collaborate with others a safe and secure environment that ensures students are able to learn without undue distraction - an encouraging presence on our school grounds. Acts as a liaison between the school and law enforcement working toward the benefit of our children and laws of our community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -
Two (2) years of Police Officer/School Resource Officer experience. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's license.

Pay: $63,995.00 - $95,933.00 per year
