There are many reasons!This non-exempt position prepares boats for daily rental operations and conducts multiple boat and rental facility inspections. Supervises and assigns duties to Rental Sports Attendants, as directed by the Operations Manager daily. Coordinates and communicates with Rental Sports Guest Service staff to ensure a seamless, safe, and effective operation. Works on paddle and/or power dock giving safety speeches and ensures a safe operation for all.Desired start date: 04/28/2025 & estimated end-of-season date: 10/12/2025Flexible schedule to include special events, holidays, weekends, early mornings, & later afternoons. 8 hour & 10 hour shiftsHours of operation could be from 7:00AM- 7:30PM
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Follows precheck protocol for rental boats to ensure they are in good condition, clean, and ready to be rented every day.Makes sure all opening and closing procedures are followed and rental operations are ready each day.Ensures all attendants follow proper protocols and procedures and the overall operation is running safely, efficiently, and as effectively as possible.Updates Ops Manager about all issues pertaining to safety, employee conflicts and important operational issues/changes as soon as they occur.Schedules the coordination of required staff breaks throughout the day to ensure that all breaks are given in a timely manner.Provide the highest level of guest service while orienting rental boat guests with proper operation of rental boats.Re-fueling of rental boats and guest boats following marina protocols.Communicates rules and regulations of proper rental boat operation on the waters of Dillon reservoir.Keeps accurate records on Power Boat Prop and Skeg forms, oil logs and hourly boat logs. Assists in boating events and/or other special events.Restocks rental boat supplies and notifies supervisor when items need to be ordered.Performs invasive species inspection when necessary.Assists Service Technicians in rental boat servicing, launching, repairs and emergencies per marina protocols.Cleans and keeps daily records on cleaning of counters, floors, buildings, grounds, and rental boats.Maintains and cleans work areas and Marina property, including dock boxes, docks, common employee areas, as well as assist with trash and recycling removal.Communicates any needed repairs or maintenance to rental boats or docks to the Ops Manager and Service Dept in a timely fashion.Communicates in a professional manner with employees, supervisors, citizens, visitors, tenants, and Town of Frisco staff at all times.Responsible for operating boats, mooring shuttles, guiding tours, and provides updates to Guest Service staff on an hourly basis.Works in a team-based environment supporting the Frisco Bay Marina, Recreation Department, and the Town of Frisco.Understand and follow all Town of Frisco, Recreation Department and Frisco Bay Marina employee policies and procedures and protocols; including but not limited to safety protocols, grooming standards, daily operations, uniform policy, and professionalism.Perform other duties as assigned.Other Responsibilities: Adheres to Town of Frisco policies, competencies, standards, and regulations including but not limited to proper attire, safety procedures, and overall professionalism.Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.Communicates with Town of Frisco employees, citizens, customers and vendors in a professional, courteous and timely manner both verbally and in writing.Performs other job duties/responsibilities as assigned by management.
