The Grounds Maintenance Operator is an hourly / non-exempt position that performs a variety of duties involved in the daily operations of the Public Works Department. This position will be expected to operate a variety of equipment in the areas of maintenance, repair, construction, and replacement of Town owned sidewalks, recreation paths, parks, buildings, grounds, playgrounds, sport facilities, cemetery system, and streets.
Maintenance Operator hiring wage range = $23.11 - $28.38
Maintenance Operator full wage range = $23.11 - $33.65

Holidays / Weekends / Evenings :
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, nights, special events, and on call. Typical summer schedule is Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm. Typical winter schedule is 6am - 2 : 30pm but can vary depending on weather / storm.
Equipment Used in Job :
CDL Class "B" is required upon hire.
Must be capable of operating a variety of equipment, hand & power tools normally
found in Public Works operations, maintenance, and construction. Must be capable of safely maneuvering all vehicles and equipment.
Other :
This position is subject to the Town of Frisco's Drug and Alcohol Workplace policy which includes : pre-employment physical and Drug / Alcohol testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty and follow-up testing.
