We are seeking a safe and reliable Summer Camp Driver for Camp Kaleidoscope Jr. (ages 5-10 years) and Camp Kaleidoscope Sr. (ages 11-14 years).
Camp Kaleidoscope Jr. will be based at the Avery Street Recreation Center and Camp Kaleidoscope Sr. will be based at the Garner Recreation Center.
Camp will run from June 16 through August 15, Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM. Staff orientation and training will be held on May 29, June 3, 5, and 9.
Examples of Duties :
Duties include transporting camp participants in a 15-passenger van or mini bus for frequent field trips in the Triangle region and between Town recreational facilities. A commercial driver's license is not required.
Minimum Qualifications :
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid North Carolina driver's license with a good driving record.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience operating a 15-passenger van and / or mini bus is strongly preferred. Previous experience as a camp counselor is preferred.
Additional Information :
First Aid / CPR / AED training will be provided for all camp staff.
This is a Seasonal position scheduled for 35-39 hours per week. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday.
