The Garner Performing Arts Center is seeking motivated technicians equally good with equipment and people for occasional work, primarily nights and weekends with some daytime shifts.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES :
- Prepare facility for program and participant use
- Responsible for supervision of the facility and technical equipment during events and rentals of the Garner Performing Arts Center
- Sets up and tears down sound, lighting, video / streaming, and rigging equipment as needed to meet the needs of each event
- Interacts directly with clients to ensure all event needs are met
- Operates audio, lighting, video and streaming equipment, and / or works backstage during events as directed by the Performing Arts Center Supervisor
- Enforce the policies and procedures of the facility
- Performs facility maintenance as needed
- Performs other related tasks as needed

This supplemental position may be scheduled for up to 20 hours per week.
