- A strategic and technical voice related to town communication approaches and implementation, such as custom website and mobile app development
- Utilization of the highest level of security to the code you deliver
- Development of custom websites and functionality to meet the needs of the Gilbert community
- Identify and build integrations with internal and external systems via APIs
- Establish a thorough quality assurance (QA) and debug process to support a wide range of browsers and devices
- Foster a culture of documentation and knowledge-sharing town-wide

At Team Gilbert, we hire innovative, forward-thinking problem-solvers who love what they do! In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of full-stack development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Technology
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience in back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of database systems such as SQL and NoSQL
- Knowledge of AWS services and architecture
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation.
This position has been identified as an eligible position for a Hybrid Work Agreement. Modified work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the department director; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue modified work arrangements at any point. Regardless of work location (Remote, On-Site, or Hybrid) Town of Gilbert employees are required to reside in the state of Arizona.
