Great Barrington Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our three State Funded property locations in Great Barrington and Sheffield. This is a full-time 40-hour a-week position working Monday through Friday with an emergency on-call rotation schedule to include after-hours and weekends. This position includes health insurance and paid time off after successful completion of probationary period. Duties will include but are not limited to cleaning, painting, installing flooring, unit turns, small/minor repairs, snow removal, lawn mowing, minor repair of in-house maintenance equipment, customer service, and experience in public housing is helpful but not required.
The successful candidate will need to pass a criminal background check, have a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
