Job description
The South County Connector is hiring a Variable Hour Summer Transit Team Member (Temporary, May-August) to join our growing transit program. May work up to 38 hours per week. There is an opportunity for the right candidate to continue as a Part Time or On Demand Team Member after the Temporary employment period ends. Team members perform a variety of duties, including operating vehicles, providing service to seniors and the general public, managing radio communications, real-time vehicle tracking, handle call-in ride requests, provide general troubleshooting support and assistance to drivers and address passenger concerns. May serve as a driver or scheduler interchangeably. We are hiring for all shifts, including early morning, midday, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Requirements: Clean driving record, Drug & alcohol testing, at least 1-2 years of customer service experience required. Previous experience in transit/operations preferred. Previous professional driving experience also preferred
Starting rate: $21.00/hour - $23.00/hour.
