Deputy Clerk
The Town of Greenville is seeking a qualified, responsive and energetic candidate for the position of full-time Deputy Clerk. As Deputy Clerk you will enjoy a 4-10- hour day work week, with 3 -day weekends. Other benefits include health insurance, vacation, 12 holidays and medical absense pay.
The Deputy Clerk is responsible for Municipal Office tasks including motor vehicle registrations, issuing hunting & fishing licenses, property tax collections, town and state elections, vital records along with other various municipal office duties.
The ideal candidate should have excellent computer, organization and communication skills. We are seeking a team player who is a highly motivated multi-tasker who enjoys working with the public. Previous experience in cash handling and complying with cash control systems & knowledge of the Greenville & Moosehead Lake areas are desired.
The ideal candidate will have municipal experience, however candidates with comparable experience and skill sets are encouraged to apply.
