What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Hockey Instructor position at Town of Greenwich?
The Instructor assists the Youth Hockey Director in all facets of running the Youth Hockey Learn to Skate program, including skater evaluations and instruction. In the absences of the Director the Instructor will assume the Director’s duties. These duties include but are not limited to: Taking attendance, organizing classes and on ice skills to be taught. The youth hockey program will be conducted in compliance with the Rink Manager’s guidelines.
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week. The season runs from October to March and classes are held Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.Previous hockey coaching and/or instructional experience preferred. Also, must have or obtain First Aid, CPR and concussion protocol training. All applicants are subject to a background check. Must be 18 years of age or older.
