What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer-2025 Seasonal position at Town of Hempstead?
Applicants may be required towork outside in extreme weather conditions.
- May sweep streets, gutters, and alleys, parks and open fields
- May loadgarbage and/or recycling onto trucks
- Maymow lawns, plants bulbs, shrubs and trees; spreads fertilizers, digs ditches, cleans culverts and catch basins
- May load and unload equipment and supplies
- May operate motorized equipment
Other duties as required
To qualify for seasonal positions, applicants must be Village of Hempstead Residents.
