The Town of Henrietta is looking to fill the position of Seasonal Full-Time Grounds Laborer at the Riverton Oaks Municipal Golf Course.
The work schedule is as follows:
Monday, Thursday, Friday - 6:00AM to 2:30PM with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.
Saturday & Sunday - 6:00AM-10:00AM - from course opening in April to closing in November (specific dates TBD).
General Description: This position is an entry level position involving a variety of routine heavy, light, and manual labor tasks. The job requires physical endurance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Mows greens and fairways and rough areas
· Rakes and blows leaves
· Maintains landscape beds on club grounds
· Rakes bunkers
· Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must be able to operate golf course equipment including a mower, blowers, golf carts, trimmers, edgers, shovels, hand tools and other equipment.
Special requirements:
Possession of a valid NYS Motor Vehicle Operator’s License Class D.
Candidates are required to pass a drug, alcohol, physical examination and background check at time of appointment

Pay: $19.86 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
